Protecting the World's Original Bubbles

All our champagne sisters and mister, no matter where they are in the world, are connected by the ocean. For our founding champagne sisters, Kiron Barui and Sara Ramirez, the oceans are extremely important. Not only does Royal Riviera champagne embody the luxury and serenity offered by a life by the ocean, it is also an advocate for its protection.

The Great Barrier Reef is a globally iconic body of water that is home to a divine diversity of wildlife. It is the New York of the ocean, filled with high-rise corals and bustling city life. 10% of the world’s fish species inhabit the Great Barrier Reef. For those of us fortunate enough to have visited this awe-inspiring location, it is truly like entering a different universe.

However, threats to oceans and wildlife are numerous and unfortunately growing. Climate change has caused 25% of the reef to undergo extreme bleaching and another 35% moderate bleaching. However, conservation efforts provide hope for the Reef’s healthy return, but this cannot be done if we remain apathetic. The Australian government have engaged in many conservation schemes in recent years to protect our countries precious natural wonder, but continued support is needed if we hope to save our world’s original bubbles.
